Our vision is to revitalize a historic 1800s building to become a regional destination in the Stevens Point area. Once housing a thriving ironworks company, the Market will restore its legacy as a vibrant hub of industry and community. Just as the neighboring railroad once fueled the city's growth, Central City Market will channel that same energy—creating a dynamic indoor marketplace that fosters connection, collaboration, and conversation. Through this unique space, we aim to celebrate the past while building a thriving future for our community.

Who are we?

Central City Market is a cooperative comprised of local makers and entrepreneurs. We are located in the heart of Stevens Point at the historical Altenburg Dairy building - which has been beautifully restored with modern decor and amenities while keeping the historical facade of the building intact. We aim to provide an elevated and unique shopping, dining, entertainment experience to Stevens Point locals and tourists, while also paying homage to the history & story of Altenburg Dairy and their family.
